Meet the team

Jim has had a long and successful career in land management and property development, beginning his career in 1990, working for the family demolition business, handling decommissioning, decontamination and demolition, before moving into ground remediation.
With extensive experience handling contaminated sites, Jim was well placed to move into property development, working initially with the developing the family’s property portfolio, then subsequently setting up St Francis Group and transforming number of industrial and commercial sites into B2, B8, and mixed use schemes to include leisure centre and care home.

n 2017, both the demolition and property business were sold to a management buyout, and Corbally Group retained a number of sites in the sale. These properties remain as legacy assets and are currently in different phases of the disposal process.

Sally Cilldara’s Finance Director brings decades of experience and expertise. Sally joined the family haulage business in 1985, and was fundamental in the growth and success of the Corbally Group.

Sally has implemented robust financial systems, mentored and developed staff and contributed signification to the success of both business prior to the sale of St Francis Group and DSM Demolition in the management buyout. She continues to oversee the financial management of the property portfolio for Corbally Group. She always striving to continually to look for innovative ways to manage the businesses to ensure that they continue to run effectively and efficiently.

Des joined the family-run business Corbally Holdings Limited (formerly P J Murray Haulage) as a teenager. Over the years, he has played a pivotal role in successfully project managing many of DSM Demolition’s high-profile sites.

Today, he continues as a consultant to DSM Demolition whilst providing strategic advice and support to consultants and contractors in the day-to-day operation, management of the Corbally portfolio.

Des’s strengths lie in planning and logistics to undertake decommissioning, demolition and ground remediation works. He will continue to utilise this expertise in providing strategic advice and support to facilitate the management of the legacy portfolio.

Steve Potter is a highly experienced Chartered Accountant with 40 years of expertise spanning both the accounting profession and industry. Based in the Midlands, Steve’s career includes 12 years with a leading international Corporate Finance advisory team, as well as senior management roles within the agricultural and materials handling sectors.

At Corbally Group, Steve plays a pivotal role in preparing management information, including statutory accounts, while also lending his extensive commercial experience to ad-hoc projects. His strategic insight and financial acumen make him an invaluable asset to the group’s operations and growth.

Lorna has over 40 years of experience in the property industry. In 2025, she will celebrate two decades of dedicated support to the family, initially with DSM Demolition and, more recently, with Corbally Group.

As part of the business support team, and while pursuing a marketing and communications degree at Kingston University London, Mairead manages the company’s marketing, online presence, and social media strategy. She ensures all activity aligns with the organisation’s brand values and ethos.

Linsay began her career in hospitality, working her way up to become a qualified manager overseeing several pubs. She then transitioned into credit management, rising to a team leader role in customer services, where she worked with high street banks, utility companies, and BT.

Eventually, Linsay joined the family engineering company as General Manager, further expanding her expertise in operations and leadership.

In 2018, Linsay joined Corbally as an Accounts Administrator and quickly progressed to the role of Property Manager while maintaining her responsibilities in accounting. As Property Manager, she oversees the day-to-day management of properties, land, and tenants. This includes collaborating with third-party consultants and suppliers to maintain operational sites and manage ongoing works.

Her dual role seamlessly integrates property management with accounting responsibilities. Linsay handles purchase orders for property-related works, ensuring the process runs smoothly from initiation to invoice completion. Additionally, she manages credit control for ledgers, ensuring tenant accounts are efficiently maintained.

Her multifaceted expertise allows her to provide comprehensive support across both roles, contributing to Corbally’s operational success.
